My husband and I were married on March 21, 2009 at The Gatehouse in Baton Rouge, LA. Our day was absolutely perfect. Actually, the entire weekend was perfect. We had friends and family fly in from all over the world and it was such a wonderful weekend being able to share the experience with so many who are so close to us.
Our road to the altar was quite an adventurous one, but in the end, all those bumps we encountered didn't matter to me. I am married to my best friend and I think I am the luckiest woman in the world (even though I know every bride who is looking at this feels the same way). I didn't think it was possible for a day to go as perfect as our wedding day, but it did.
